Alice Blackwell is suppose to be a fictional character based on Laura Bush. The author takes major events of the first lady's life and tweaks them a bit to fit her character. I found Alice to come off as a miss goody good shoes and her husbands is portrayed some what as dummy.The whole book bored me to death. Rating:DChallenge Note: Since this book took me so long to get through. I have to add another month on to the Remember the Ladies Challenge In order to finish the other book I have set aside for the challenge.
